The Central Botanical garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is one of the oldest Botanical institutions of this country. Organized in 1932 by the decision of the Council of people's Commissars of the BSSR. It is the country's largest center for the conservation of biological diversity of living plants, a leading scientific institution in the field of introduction, acclimatization, physiology, biochemistry and ecology of plants, environmental protection.
